Microsoft Focuses on Agility, Releases eScrum

In a sure sign that Agility, is getting long in the tooth for a development methodology.

Microsoft announces that it is "Focused" on Agility in the eWeek article Microsoft Focuses on Agility, in it Darryl K. Taft relates CMM is no longer agile enough for today's developers and"Agility is not only achieved by technology, he added, but also by culture and process".

And in a related article,
Microsoft Releases Scrum Tool, Darryl K. Taft states "Microsoft has released new support for the Scrum method of agile development in its eScrum tool".

eScrum is a Web-based, end-to-end project management tool for Scrum built on the Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server platform, Microsoft said.

I'm going to miss keeping track of my development processes with spreadsheets. And I guess it really is time to look for what comes next, where are those Post-Agile articles I had around here somewhere.
